Just because you can’t go to the gym doesn’t mean you can’t get your workout in. Here are the best at-home workouts you can do.

1. Kettlebell Workouts by Fitify

This is a free app you can download on your phone. It’s available on the App Store (iPhone) as well as Google Play (Android).

The app lets you choose which body part you want to train and who long you’d like your workout session to be.

It also includes video instructions on how to do each exercise as well as an option to build your own workouts from their exercise library.

All you need is a kettlebell and you’re good to go.

My choice would be the AmazonBasics Kettlebell or the Bionic Body Soft Kettlebell since they both come with a soft protective material to prevent damage to your floor.

You can pick any weight you’d like, they go from 10 pounds up to 60 pounds.

For a woman who is just starting out, I believe anywhere from 10-15 pounds would be good. If you’re stronger and more experienced, maybe go for something between 15-20 pounds.

For a man who is just starting out, I’d say go for something between 15-20 pounds. If you’re more experienced, then maybe between 20-40 pounds.

Keep in mind that the weight you use also depends on the exercise. For example, people are typically able to lift more weight on an exercise like squats than bicep curls.

2. Fitness Blender Free Workout Videos

Another great place to find at-home workouts is on Fitness Blender’s website.

On their website, Fitness Blender has a ton of free workout videos.

They let you filter the workouts by training types, such as cardio, yoga, low impact, toning, kettlebell, and more.

They also show you workouts depending on the equipment you have, like dumbbells, jump rope, medicine ball, exercise band, and more.

No equipment? Don’t worry, they have an extensive video library of exercises you can do with no equipment at all.

3. Athlean-X [Jeff Cavalier] At-Home Workout

Jeff Cavalier is definitely one of the most trustworthy fitness YouTubers. He created this at-home workout yesterday especially for people having to stay home during the Coronavirus outbreak.

Below is the video (YouTube) of him explaining the workouts.

This is a complete at-home workout routine with all sets and reps included to help you build muscle without having to go to the gym.

This workout actually requires no equipment at all and can be done in under one hour, so you should be able to do it without any problems.

According to Jeff, the idea is not to try and hit each muscle with too many individual exercises since this could lead to a super long workout and doing too much in a single workout.

Instead, he selects exercises based on movement patterns that he knows will allow you to build or maintain muscle everywhere.

He also includes a beginner and an advanced version of the workouts.

4. Blogilates

If you’re looking for more of a Pilates type workout, then you can check out Blogilates YouTube channel.
